Under this Administration, Americans have been forced to live with chaos and uncertainty. Instead of steady leadership, we’ve seen disruption become the norm and we are all paying the price. People are left wondering whether they’ll be forced out of their homes because insurance is no longer affordable, whether their Social Security check will arrive on time, or whether veterans’ benefits will be disrupted by political dysfunction. Small businesses have been forced to close, reduce staff or raise prices and lose customers because of tariffs that are not bringing jobs back to America.
Americans deserve stability. Government should be a source of reliability and peace of mind, not stress and anxiety.
I am committed to protecting Social Security and Medicare so seniors can count on the benefits they’ve earned and planned their lives around. I will fight to ensure veterans receive timely, dependable care and support. I will work to address growing risks, like home owners’ insurance market instability, so families aren’t left exposed when disaster strikes. And I will fight for a trade policy that allows American business to invest in a future not one where they have to cut jobs in order to deal with an ill-conceived trade policy.
It’s time to bring fairness back to our system. We need federal catastrophic home insurance that includes coverage for hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, and wildfires. No American should lose their home or be forced to move simply because private insurance has become unavailable or unaffordable.
We need a trade policy that is predictable, consistent, and focused on long-term growth. Constantly shifting tariffs and trade threats create uncertainty that makes it harder for businesses to set prices, plan investments, and hire workers. I support a clear, rules-based trade approach that gives American businesses confidence to expand, raise wages, and create good-paying jobs, while holding trading partners accountable and protecting American workers.
Predictability isn’t flashy, but it’s essential. It’s what allows families to plan for the future, businesses to invest with confidence, and communities to thrive. Restoring stability means ending the chaos and delivering steady, responsible leadership that people can trust.
